TEXRail Environmental Assessment Comments Open

The 2.1-mile Trinity Metro TEXRail extension project will run south from the Fort Worth T&P Station to the Fort Worth Medical District (south of Mistletoe Boulevard, near Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center). The TEXRail Environmental Assessment is now posted to the project website.

TEXRAIL ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT COMMENTS OPEN THROUGH NOVEMBER 30

TEXRail is Trinity Metro’s 27-mile commuter rail line that extends from downtown Fort Worth through North Fort Worth, North Richland Hills and Grapevine to the northern entrance of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, ending at Terminal B. In Fall 2020, Trinity Metro began conducting the Environmental Assessment and Preliminary Engineering for a 2.1-mile TEXRail extension project.

Commuter rail service would continue south from the Fort Worth T&P Station to a proposed new station in the Fort Worth Medical District (south of Mistletoe Boulevard, near Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center).

Beginning Nov. 1, 2021, the public has an opportunity to comment on the Environmental Assessment (EA) for the TexRail extension project. The comment period will remain open through Nov. 30, 2021.
