BECOME A TRANSIT ADVOCATE
Do you want to create a positive change in your community?
JOIN TTA!
The Tarrant Transit Alliance envisions a county where one’s worth is not tied to a car.
This means:
-
safer and more accessible conditions for those who walk and bike to reach opportunities
-
more frequent, accessible, and reliable public transit routes
-
mitigating negative impacts of infrastructure development

With your help, we can propel these issues into the public mindset, and convince our elected officials to create the policy changes that Tarrant County needs.

WAYS TO TAKE ACTION
There are many ways to lend your voice to supporting transit initiatives that serve ALL members of the community. We focus on getting the public engaged with their local transit system and work hard to make the changes you need.
Find out how you can support our efforts below:
Individual support and involvement are crucial as regional transit solutions are presented, discussed and implemented.
If you can not tell, we love advocating about the importance of transit in the community. Have us speak at your next business gathering or board meeting.
Advocate on state and local transit initiatives. Send a letter in support of transit to your local officials.
Join our community of advocates by signing up to participate in one of our committees or add your name to our volunteer email list.
TTA posts calls to action on our updates page. Follow along and find out how to take action to support our efforts for a more connected Tarrant County.
We are looking for pictures of our community using transit - hanging out at the bus stop, taking the train, riding the bus, using their bikes.
Please share your pictures with our Communications Director!
