About the Event
BNSF's Technology Awareness Day is part of the National Black Family Technology Awareness Week. The national campaign was started by IBM, and aims to "promote significant minority achievement in engineering, science and technology." Corporate-sponsored events are held nationally during a week in February.
BNSF began hosting the event in 2004, and attendance has grown every year.
This year’s event will take place from February 9-11, 2022 from 5:00PM-6:10PM(CST)

REGISTRATIONSpace is limited, so register early. Registration is available November 16, 2021 - February 11, 2022 at 11:59pm CST or until event is full.
CONTEST INFORMATIONThere will be four standard contests: Graphic Art, Video, Essay, and Mobile App/Website Design, open to all students, and two pop-up social media contests on TikTok and Instagram. The theme of the contest is "Innovation Starts With You." As of 2022, Past Grand Prize Winners are now eligible to participate in the category they won.
