The TTA Transit Academy is designed to equip everyone - from engaged community members to private- & public-sector leaders - with the tools to lead conversations about the value of multimodal transit across the region and the emerging mass transit options that can address our mobility needs in Tarrant County.

This course is accredited by the American Planning Association for AICP Certification Maintenance and the American Institute of Architects for 11.25 total learning units! More Continuing Education credits may apply soon.

THIS IS A 5-SESSION PROGRAM THAT COVERS THE FOLLOWING DATES:

April 4  – Session 1 THE BASICS OF TRANSIT 1 - Tarrant County's Transit History & Transit Planning 101

April 18 – Session 2 THE BASICS OF TRANSIT 2 - The Needs in our Community & The People Behind Transit

May 2  – Session 3 THE TRANSIT IMPACT - The Economy, Health, & The Environment

May 16 – Session 4 THE TRANSIT EXPERIENCE - The User Experience & The Future

May 30 – Session 5 TRANS(IT)ACTIONS - The Steps to Support Moving Transit Initiatives Forward in Tarrant County & Beyond
